“I wanted to share my experience with the community mural in the pocket park. While we were there, Tess took time to talk with us about the mural, she was so warm and kind. She invited us to come back over the weekend to see her continue to work on the mural. When we did, she paused her painting, and came over to talk to us again. She was very encouraging to my daughter to pursue her interest in art. It was another great conversation. We go out of our way to visit the mural and enjoy knowing that we both had such a great experience with the artist and had a small part in creating this beautiful space in downtown.”
